Payroll Tax Updates: Download and Ship Dates
March 31, 2010 Payroll Tax Update
The U.S. governments has announced payroll tax changes that affect all jurisdictions. These changes have been incorporated into the March 31, 2010 payroll tax updates for that current Payroll Update Plan (PUP) or Priority Software Support (PSS) clients may download according to the following schedule at www.sageaccpac.com/myaccount (select the "Download Tax Table" link at the top of the page).
Tax table updates are normally released prior to the actual effective date. However, a subscription to the Payroll Update Plan (PUP) or Priority Software Support (PSS) must be current as of the actual effective date in order to be able to download the update. As an example, the March 31, 2010 tax updates will be made available for your convenience prior to that date. Your PUP or PSS subscription would need to be current as of January 31, 2010 in order to download the update.
Beginning March 26, 2010, we will begin shipping payroll tax updates to current PUP subscribers who have registered and prepaid for updates on disk.

November 1, 2009 Product Tax Update for California
The state of California is releasing a new tax withholding table effective November 1st, 2009 through December 31st, 2009. In addition, the rate for supplemental wages has increased to 6.6 percent. These changes have been incorporated into the November 1, 2009 payroll tax update that current Payroll Update Plan (PUP) clients may download according to the following schedule at www.sageaccpac.com/myaccount (select the "Download Tax Table" link at the top of the page).
Tax table updates are normally released prior to the actual effective date. However, a subscription to the Payroll Update Plan (PUP) or Priority Software Support (PSS) must be current as of the actual effective date in order to be able to download the update.
